One of the perfect spots for photos is a 50 acre family owned and run farm in Arlington, WA. It’s nestled along the banks of the Sillaguamish River. Their popular Sunflower Festival in late August is a big draw for them each year. But more importantly, is the purebred Katahdin Lambs they raise. This provides locals and area restaurant owners with grass-fed, hormone and antibiotic free lamb for sale, in addition to beef as well.
The Hanson’s
The Hansons wanted those summer vibes for their photo shoot with their adorable toddler Harper. They were able to reserve the entire place for a small fee. Clear blue skies, the sun towering above us, those tall stalks of flowers surrounding us, what could be more perfect. Truly, our choice of photo backdrops was amazing as you can see from the pictures I took. The farm plants a variety of sunflowers, some I’d definitely never seen, in different colors, shapes and sizes and everywhere we turned seemed like the perfect spot to stop and snap more shots.
Mom and daughter complemented each other with their pretty white summer dresses and our sunny day only enhanced the beauty of all the sunflowers. It’s always sweet to get a toddler perspective on nature and it was little Harper’s first time up close and personal with a sunflower.
