There are so many engagement photo locations in Seattle to choose from, but this spot is very special and diverse. This couple’s session emcompassed everything I love about the Pacific Northwest.
Tiara and her fiancé Ross have one of the cutest stories for how they met! Ross’s family lived five houses down from Tiara’s family. They were elementary school age when they first met. All of the children on their block played in each other’s backyards, had bonfires and snow fights. Fast forward to years later and now she gets to marry the boy next door.
While they both live in Arizona, their hometown is still Washington. They decided on doing the engagement photos at Discovery Park in Seattle. If you have never been, you must go. This park is situated on Magnolia Bluff, overlooking the Puget Sound and offers stunning mountain and water views.
We started our photo session on the street where both families still reside, which seemed a fitting start to our day. Then it was off to the park where we explored through the forests and fields. They did a few different outfit changes to complement the various backdrops, which I always encourage my clients to do. This allows my clients to wear clothing which reflects their style and makes them feel comfortable. If you book one of my wedding packages, I will always include my detailed session guide so you don’t miss a beat!
Afterwards, we dropped by Dick’s where all of us chowed down on burgers and fries. It was such a perfect day, and this is still by far one of my favorite engagement photo locations in Seattle.
