Brian & Marina’s intimate 2-hour wedding took place at Roeder Home in Bellingham, a historic home built in the early 1900’s. It’s recognized on the National Register of Historic Places. It also boasts some beautiful gardens which offer plenty of sweet spots for wedding photos.

Brian and Marina met on the opposite side of the world in South Korea where both were teaching. At their proposal a few years later he took her to Church Beach, situated behind the Lummi Island Congregational Church. This secluded beach was the perfect place for a proposal. Not to mention, it was also the first place Marina took Brian the day he arrived in Bellingham a month after she got there herself.

I was enamored with Marina’s multi-colored floral wedding crown filled with a variety of different flowers which went along with her wildflower theme. Her color scheme centered on blue and sage green. Brian wore a kilt to honor his Scottish roots. They also made sure to include their cute doggie with them for some of the photos.

Their outdoor July wedding nestled amongst the trees was sweet and filled with love. Their reception took place under a white tent in a grassy area in front of the venue. Guests enjoyed the outdoor games and yummy tamales. Even with our short time frame, we managed to capture all the important moments they wanted, and nothing made me happier than giving my clients what they want.
