It Starts With Music…
Did you know there is a powerful connection between music and love? One can actually get a little nudge of dopamine every time you listen to a certain piece of music. Dopamine releases from our brains as we are falling in love too! With that being said, let’s start at the beginning of this couple’s love story. How they met was one of Casey’s best friends was dating Courtney’s sister. After a little time, Courtney was eventually introduced to Casey. Just like the start of any musical piece, the couple slowly gained an appreciation for each person’s personality, pealing back layer after layer to discover how much they enjoyed each other’s key, tempo, and rhythm, ultimately falling in love.
On Memorial Day weekend a couple years later, Casey and Courtney went for a boat ride in Lake Steven’s bay. While they were both enjoying the scenery, Casey played a customized song for Courtney about their love story. He custom made the song through Songfinch. After the song was over, he got out the ring and proposed to Courtney! Such a cute idea!
The Little Details
There are SO many Snohomish wedding venues, but Carleton Farms in Lake Stevens was their choice of venue. The perfect farm wedding choice for a classic, laid back, country feel! This outdoorsy venue offered plenty of outdoor locations to capture wedding photos. The desert rose bridesmaid dresses were stunning, not to mention Courtney’s dress. Casey chose a white tux with black lapel, while his groomsmen wore black tuxes.
Wood rounds were used for centerpieces and held, among other things, a mini log photo holder which showcased various black and white photos of the couple with the table numbers printed on them.
White on white dressed the dessert table- white frosted cupcakes, a simple white wedding cake and white frosted cookies boasting the couple’s first initials, wedding date and the word “Love”.
